L’Ermitage Beverly Hills, a Forbes Five Star and AAA Five Diamond luxury hotel renowned for its unquestioned privacy and legendary excellence, is pleased to announce the appointment of emerging talent Chef Joseph Elevado to reinvent the food and beverage program of the storied property.
Elevado, known for his Asian-inspired cuisine and training under acclaimed Chef Nobu Matsuhisa, will oversee the culinary program, from the conception of an innovative new signature restaurant to the historic lounge to in-room dining and poolside fare. From Nobu in New York City to Social House in Las Vegas, Elevado’s career is a culmination of his cultural upbringing, artistic expression and discipline, honed in esteemed kitchens throughout the country.
As the zenith of his well-heeled culinary pedigree, Elevado leads the creation of an original concept to debut this fall for L’Ermitage’s signature restaurant and adjacent lounge. In a passionate dichotomy of two cultures with strong historical ties, the new menu will breathe inspired elegance into the soulful cuisines of both Italy and Asia. With a style that weaves together classic technique, Japanese aesthetics and both Asian and Italian flavors, Elevado remains true to his roots by imparting a piece of his heritage on each and every plate.
