Peter Serantoni and Don Myers, the creators of the highly successful Cha Cha’s Latin Kitchen, are set to debut their second restaurant, Brunos Trattoria, in late August and will be located in the heart of Brea Downtown. The concept is inspired by a simpler time when meals brought friends and families together.
The goal of Brunos Trattoria is to provide a relaxing dining atmosphere with soul-satisfying fare, which derives its inspiration from dishes and ingredients found in Italian cuisine.
Brunos Trattoria, named after Chef Peter’s mentor and father, Papa Bruno, brings to Brea the meals prepared in their home, located in the heart of Venice, at San Marco 865. The breakfast conversation was about that day’s lunch, and at lunch they would discuss that evening’s dinner. Peter’s Grandmother, Nonna Maria, shopped twice a day at the local market, where what was fresh and seasonal guided what would be served at the family dinner table.
