This Thanksgiving, skip the hassle and time-consuming food preparation but still treat yourself and your loved ones to a delicious home cooked Thanksgiving meal, thanks to chefs Sarah Stegner and George Bumbaris of Prairie Grass Cafe.

Prairie Grass Cafe’s popular Thanksgiving To Go lets you order from a specially prepared menu of Thanksgiving delights and pick them up at the restaurant just in time for your at-home holiday feast. Choose from a wide variety of appetizers, side dishes, turkey, stuffing, and dessert options to create the perfect combination for you and your guests.

The menu begins with four delicious appetizer options. The first is a Butternut Squash Soup (quart with 4 servings $20). Next is the Organic Mixed Green Salad with Shaved Parmesan, Pumpkin Seeds, and Pomegranate (serves 6 to 8, $45). For a larger group try the Jumbo Cocktail Shrimp with Homemade Horseradish Sauce ($51 per dozen). Lastly, for a light appetizer, try the Cut Vegetable Assortment with Amish Blue Cheese Dip (serves 6 to 8 $35).

Now, on to the bird. No Thanksgiving is complete without a delicious roast turkey on the table. Prairie Grass Cafe offers a Roasted Turkey with Gravy, available to order as a whole turkey (serves 10 to 14, $148) or half turkey (serves 5 to 7, $85). To accompany the bird are two stuffing options; Apple Sage Stuffing (quart with 4 to 6 servings $16) and Homemade Sausage and Giblet Stuffing (quart with 4 to 6 servings $24).

There are five unique side dishes available to add a little something extra to your Thanksgiving dinner. Each side dish is available in a pint (2 to 3 servings) or a quart (4 to 6 servings). The side dishes include; Yukon Gold Mashed Potatoes (pint $8, quart $16), Sweet Potato and Butternut Squash Puree (pint $9, quart $18), Sautéed Green Beans (pint $8, quart $16), Brussels Sprouts with Bacon and Chestnuts (pint $12, quart $24), and Homemade Cranberry Sauce (pint 2 to 5 servings $9, quart 6 to 10 servings $18).

End your perfect Thanksgiving meal with a delicious dessert. Choose from a fresh homemade Pumpkin Pie ($30/pie, 6 slices), Mom’s Pecan Pie ($30/pie, 6 slices), or the Double Chocolate Cake ($50/cake, 10-12 servings).
