Pitfire Artisan Pizza is more than just pizza. The menu spans from wood-oven-baked pizzas to pasta, salads, and paninis, and even sweets! The chain has just celebrated its 15th anniversary.Owner, Paul Hibler’s innovative passion for his restaurants has made Pitfire a shining jewel among the many pizza restaurants in the country.Although Pitfire Artisan Pizza is a chain restaurant, each location is unique. This one in Costa Mesa, for example, is nautical themed because of its proximity to the ocean and the surf and skateboard culture. All the decors from the brightly paint walls to the bar area with polished planks; the shining surfboard like counter top to the lights from the VW vans all embrace the community it aims to serve.

I had an opportunity to try many during the media event, among them The Burrata Pie, Sausage Party, Tuscany, Roast Pumpkin Pizza, and Brussels Sprouts and Bacon. The thin crust in the middle with a slighter thicker outer crust will not leave you feeling overloaded. All the ingredients were sourced locally in support of the local communities.Unlike other pizza that leave you feeling greasy and heavy, these are fresh, light, and super tasty!

Many craft beers and specialty cocktails are served to compliment your meal..And don’t forget the famous Jumbo Chocolate Chunk Cookie with Organic Vanilla Soft Serve Ice Cream to complete your dining experience.

Where it’s a casual lunch, intimate dinner, or a special celebration event, Pitfire Artisan Pizza is a perfect place to share great food and great time!To read more, visit http://wendyfulworld.com/?p=2466.
