Slow cookers require the least amount of maintenance and yield the most delicious meals, remember that! Our Produce pick of the Month this issue is Meyer Lemons. These China native lemons are sweeter and rounder than the common varieties found in grocery stores. Pair these lemons with seafood such as shrimp, mackerel or salmon for a tasty addition. Originated in Oregon, our Cheese Pick of the Month is a delicious blue. Rogue Creamery’s Caveman Blue is full of fruity and buttery flavors with a hint of vanilla. Travel with us to Asia as we introduce you to different exotic Asian fruits and vegetables that you can get locally from Farmer’s Markets in Los Angeles and Orange County. Teri Williams has her finger on the pulse of the local hospitality industry like no one else.
