Oak Grill at the Island Hotel offers a multitude of seating options for up to 230 guests, with the lush and spacious 2,160-square-foot patio featuring overhead heaters, the main room, two private dining rooms, and lounge bar, and floor-to-ceiling glass doors that can be opened up entirely to bring the indoors out and the outdoors in. Rooted in classic French style, Johnson’s cuisine is locally sourced and creatively balanced with global flavors and ingredients that reflect the varied cultures found in Southern California. Oak Grill’s all-day menu features a variety of salads, sandwiches, burgers, flatbreads, pastas and entrees showcasing fresh fish, high-quality meats, and more. Familiar dishes are given a novel and fun deconstruction, like a BLT sandwich transformed into anheirloom tomato “BLT” panzanella saladwith field greens, crispy pork belly, and avocado, or a traditional side of horseradish and mashed potatoes substituted for an elegant, yet homey, cauliflower horseradish puree (served alongside thegrilled Brandt beef filetwith trumpet mushrooms and fingerling potatoes).
