For the 8th consecutive year, Irvine-based Wienerschnitzel, the world’s largest hot dog chain, will be donating lunch to the Children’s Hospital of Orange County (CHOC) on December 9, as part of the company’s ongoing commitment to support the communities it serves.

Wienerschnitzel’s “Wiener Wagon” food truck will be cooking up hot dogs, chili dogs and corn dogs for approximately 300 CHOC patients, family and staff to help brighten their day. Each year, more than 50 Wienerschnitzel employees volunteer their time in support of this special day. “The Delicious One” (hot dog mascot), who always aims to entertain, will also be in attendance.

In addition to the catered lunch, Galardi Group (parent company of Wienerschnitzel) will be donating lots of toys for the children based on CHOC’s holiday wish list.
