Burger Boss opened its Lake Forest location on National Cheeseburger Day with a Burgers and Bikes grand opening party to thrill adrenaline junkies and foodies alike. The first 50 customers received a complimentary burger with their choice of grassfed beef, cage-free poultry or a vegan black bean patty with dozens of topping options. Motorcycle stunt shows, fitness and action sports company giveaways and a live DJ added to the festivities.
“Americans love cheeseburgers so much that they’ve created a national holiday,” said Mo Farha, President and Founder of Burger Boss. “It’s a perfect time to hold our grand opening party and offer OC burger lovers the chance to create their own customized American classic.”
Burger Boss offers customers 100% grassfed beef, cage-free chicken and turkey and vegan black bean protein options: all growth-hormone and antibiotic-free. Customers have their choice of buns, including gluten-free, lettuce wrap and Boss Bowl; as well 35 different cheese, topping and sauce options. Fresh cut and sweet potato fries covered with everything from grilled jalapenos and green olives to turkey bacon and organic egg round out the menu. Burger Boss is also one of the only current providers of the natural-ingredient Coca-Cola Life® fountain drink on the West Coast.
Sunday’s grand opening party featured professional motorcycle stunt riders Clint Ewing and Jason Hall while The Leo King DJ performed a set live streamed to tens of thousands of fans. Fitness and action sports companies including Mission Motorsports, CBS Boardshop, Pure Ride Cycles, CrossFit® Forest, Baker Ranch Yoga, Hard Core Fitness Studio and ZICO® Premium Coconut Water had giveaways throughout the day.
“If you’re doing physically-demanding activities like motorcycle riding, you need to make sure the food you’re eating isn’t going to slow you down,” said Clint Ewing, professional motorcycle stunt rider. “Burger Boss offers active men and women who just want a good burger but are sick of limited choices the best of both worlds with good, natural ingredients made the way they want.”
Burger Boss Lake Forest, located just off the 5 Freeway and Lake Forest Drive at 23642 Rockfield Blvd., Lake Forest, CA 92618, is the second Orange County location for the Corona-based chain. Burger Boss plans to open in Cypress, Tustin, Irvine and Newport Beach within the next six months.
In a nod to technology-savvy millennials and the up-and-coming Gen Z crowd, Burger Boss offers customers the option to build and pay for their burgers and fries using giant touch screens directly installed in its Lake Forest store. The interactive screens allow patrons to add whatever options they desire and visualize what their creation will look like in real-time. Orders are then served up directly to their table in approximately 10-15 minutes.
“When you eat natural, high-quality meals you feel better and can accomplish more,” said Farha. “If you’re [enjoyed] a burger on National Cheeseburger Day, this is where you [wanted] to be.”
