A private invitation only VIP event, hosted by Stanley and Simmons will take place from 5:30 p.m. to 8:00 p.m.
“We are thrilled to be a part of the wonderful city of Downey and look forward to contributing to the vibrant community with our unique dining and entertainment experience,” said Stanley and Simmons in a joint statement. “With every opening, we look forward to honoring local veterans, active military and first responders who dedicate their lives to protecting their community and our country.”
The restaurant is scheduled to open to the public on Monday, September 4 and is located at 467 Stonewood Street, at the Stonewood Center. This opening marks the fifth Rock & Brews location for multi-franchise partner Jon Mesko, who also owns California-based Rock & Brews locations in Redondo Beach, Buena Park, Rancho Cucamonga, and Corona. A sixth location in Vacaville, CA is slated to open in November 2017. This will be the restaurant brand’s first Northern California location.
Stanley and Simmons, along with their co-founding partners, restaurateur and hotelier Michael Zislis and concert industry veterans Dave and Dell Furano, are thoughtfully planning for worldwide expansion of the brand. Additional Rock & Brews properties in development include a Rock & Brews Casino Resort in Braman, OK and 10-15 Rock & Brews restaurant locations to open in the Greater Chicago area starting in 2018.
