Mendocino Farms Summer Sandwiches


If the high temps weren’t a giveaway, it’s clearly summer and at Mendocino Farms that calls for a new vegan sandwich, an elevated take on the always-popular BLT and a banh mi sandwich for a good cause.

Nam’s Charity Chicken Banh Mi

Vietnamese-style Mary’s free range chicken, lemongrass relish, Asian pickled slaw, cilantro, sweet chili sauce, chili aioli on a toasted soft roll.

Note: a portion of the proceeds from every sandwich sold will go to the Children of Vietnam Organization’s Me & U 4 C’Tu fund to help a 10-year-old boy named Nam’s family build a primary school for the children of the ethnic minority C’Tu tribe in rural Vietnam.  Nam is a classmate of Ella, the daughter of Mendocino Farms co-founders Ellen Chen and Mario Del Pero who was adopted from Vietnam and has big plans and an even bigger heart.  When Mario and Ellen learned of his campaign they were moved enough to support the cause and hope that guests of Mendocino Farms will help raise thousands of dollars to help.


Summer Heirloom BLT
