Whiskey Dinner with Gordon & MacPhail
WHAT: On Thursday, April 12 Tam O’Shanter will host a very special dining event featuring a four-course meal created by executive chef Juan Escamilla with select whiskey pairings Joseph McCluskey of Gordon & MacPhail will be on hand to talk about each pairing and the distillery’s history and craft.
The exceptional whiskey pairing dinner will include:
Appetizer: Cocktails with canapes (paired with Benromach Scotch Whisky);
First Course: Pan-seared foie gras on brioche toast (paired with Glen Grant Distillery 10yr)
Second Course: Grilled little gem lettuces with anchovies, shaved parmigiana and house Caesar dressing (paired with Caol Ila Distillery 10yr)
Entrée Course: Coffee crusted filet mignon with glazed baby carrots and crispy potatoes (paired with Linkwood Distillery 21yr)
Dessert: Chocolate olive oil cake with whipped mascarpone and berries (paired with Littlemill Distillery 24yr)
The Gordon & MacPhail Distillery is an independent, family owned and managed firm which has been bottling Single Malt Whiskies for over 120 years.
