We know it’s early, but that hasn’t stopped many of you (a lot of you!) from already placing your orders for our Thanksgiving Tandoori Turkeys! For the past 23 years, Clay Oven has been preparing perhaps the most exotic turkeys served in this county from their tandoor ovens. These Mary’s free-range birds ($90.00, 13-14lbs, serves at least eight) are skinless and marinated in a herb and spice blend before they are sent into our super-heated barrel-shaped ovens. Because of the high heat, the juices are seared into the meat, making it lower in fat (because there is no skin) but still moist. The turkeys come surrounded by an intoxicating spice and vegetable-infused Basmati rice, and there is a wickedly runny cranberry chutney on the side.
