Offering a different spin on New Wave music, Newport Dunes Waterfront Resort has announced another season of its popular Bands on the Sands, a free concert series held every Saturday at 6 p.m. during the summer months.Offered in conjunction with the two-hour concerts is a Beach Bar specializing in a wide assortment of beers, wine and cocktails.While there is no cover charge for Bands on the Sands, parking fees apply.

JULY 8:
The Russian Ilya Quartet blends classical with Latin jazz and soul music.
JULY 16:
The popular tribute band, Springsteen, will dedicate their set list to The Boss.
JULY 23:
Surf’s up as the Hodaddies get the crowd rocking with classic surf party anthems.
JULY 30:
Jimmy Buffet tribute band will liven things up and provide the
backdrop tothe annual Lobsterfest.
