Orange County got its first taste of a Corona legend in the summer of 2004 with the opening of Miguel’s in Foothill Ranch. Miguel’s Restaurant was founded in 1973 by Mike and Mary Vasquez in Corona, California and named in honor of Mike’s grandfather, Miguel. In 1975 they leased a fast-food restaurant located two miles from the current Miguel’s and named it Miguel’s Jr., which was an immediate success. Since that time, 19 additional locations have opened throughout the Inland Empire and Orange County including the newest location in Rialto, CA. Miguel’s offers superb-quality family recipes using premium ingredients, inspired by the cuisine of Central Mexico.
