A new year brings new tastes to San Diego’s Downtown hot spot, Rustic Root. Executive Chef Marcel Childress has curated two refreshed brunch menus: one for the downstairs dining room and one for the picturesque rooftop bar. On the open-air rooftop, guests can pair views of the downtown neighborhood with sweet and savory dishes including the signature breakfast risotto; seasonal french toast with regularly changing flavors; the flat iron french roll; olive bread grilled cheese and more. In the cozy downstairs dining room, guests can choose from selections available on the rooftop menu in addition to a few downstairs-exclusive dishes including the french toast sampler, avocado toast trio, acai bowl and more.
