Panini Kabob Grill recently announced their latest partnership with Great Plates Delivered Program by Meals on Wheels Orange County. As a result of this collaboration, Panini Kabob Grill now delivers nutritious meals daily to local seniors in North Orange County. This partnership is a new addition to their existing partnerships with Great Plates Delivered Program by Age Well Senior Services, Inc. and Los Angeles County WDACS, which currently allows them to serve local seniors in South Orange County and Los Angeles County.

As an official restaurant provider, Panini Kabob Grill provides three meals a day to each eligible older adult, typically aged 60+ years, who are considered at-risk and must stay home during COVID-19. After they are approved by their city’s respective Great Plates Delivered program application process, Panini Kabob Grill may then start providing them with free meals. Panini Kabob Grill prepares these home delivery meals from scratch in house daily with the same premium ingredients they use in their other dishes: antibiotic and hormone-free chicken, sustainably raised Atlantic salmon, sea salt, and fresh produce; all of which are delivered fresh to their restaurants daily. Thus far, they have served over 10,000 meals to seniors.

“We’ve always been dedicated to giving back to the communities we serve since day one. Now more than ever, we saw a need to support our older adults during these unprecedented times and did not hesitate to join Great Plates Delivered. Helping them stay home and stay healthy aligns with our company’s values in giving back and our commitment in providing healthy meals prepared from scratch every single day,” says Jose Jimenez, Director of Public Relations at Panini Kabob Grill.

Panini Kabob Grill prepares these senior meals as well as all other dishes in adherence to all health and safety precautions as recommended by the CDC and state, including staff wearing company-provided masks and gloves, staff delivering meals in tamper-evident and sealed bags, staff undergoing daily wellness checks prior to clocking in, enhanced sanitation of high-touch surfaces, and more.
