New Concept Features Menu of Barista-Driven Craft Coffee Experiment

Husband-and-wife team, Jeff and Christa Duggan expanded their culinary range with the opening ofTheorem by Portola Coffee Lab, a 6-seat bar opened recently, adjacent to Portola Coffee Lab at the OC Mart Mix in Costa Mesa.Portola Coffee Lab has created a distinct brand that revolves around producing an artisanal culinary product, Craft Coffee.

Theorem by Portola Coffee Lab will focus on sustainable, local, and seasonal ingredients, complex textures, and global flavors, whileintroducing hand-crafted items that stray outside of the coffee arena, such as ice cream made to order with liquid nitrogen for a unique take on the classic Affogato. Other examples ofTheoremofferings include Barrel-aged Kyoto Old Fashioned, Liquid-Nitrogen Affogato, and Coffee Flights for sampling.

According to Jeff Duggan, “This next step in our story takes our concept of delivering craft coffee one step further with innovative new offerings.”
