As Daphne’s California Greek evolves their menu to showcase Mediterranean and Greek-flavored and nutritionally responsible selections that embody the California lifestyle, their distinctively light flatbread pizzas debut in their 57 restaurants this month. The four selections, Rustic Greek, Margherita, BBQ Chicken and Pepperoni have just become available at all Daphne’s; which can be found throughout Southern and Northern California and two locations each in Arizona and Colorado. The rectangular-shaped, fresh-ingredient personal pizzas retail for only $5.49 each.
“Not the typical cheesy, doughy and heavy pizzas we see served in the U.S.” said Daphne’s California Greek CEO, Bill Trefethen, “our selections are Mediterranean-styled, with fresh and wholesome ingredients atop a crispy signature flatbread. The selections include:
Rustic Greek: A signature flatbread pizza and savory tomato sauce topped with roma tomato slices, cucumbers, tabouli, mozzarella and feta cheeses, bell peppers, red onions and kalamata olives.
Margherita: A classically inspired flatbread pizza topped with basil pesto sauce, mozzarella cheese and roma tomato slices.
BBQ Chicken: Topped with a zesty BBQ sauce, mozzarella cheese, red onions and roasted chicken.
Pepperoni: Traditionally flavorful pepperoni slices, mozzarella cheese and savory tomato sauce on flatbread.
