Grand Wailea, A Waldorf Astoria Resort in Maui just hosted an exciting event with California cult winemaker Heidi Peterson-Barrett as part of the TOAST! wine and spirits dinner series. On August 10, 2011 the resort’s signature restaurant Humuhumunukunukuapua’a featured a five-course menu by Humu Chef Isaac Bancaco paired with the wines of Peterson-Barrett’s Amuse Bouche, La Sirena and Au Sommet. The event was sold-out and proceeds benefited the Maui Arts & Cultural Center.
The night was sold out and capped for 30 guests. All of the proceeds, estimated at $8,850.00 benefited the Maui Arts & Cultural Center!
