Brunch “A La Plancha” Style

Descanso has taken its unique “Plancha Dining” Mexican experience to Weekend Brunch from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. every Saturday and Sunday! Chef Sergio Ortega now presents authentic Mexican flavors on a Plancha Weekend Brunch Menu that features classics like Chilaquiles, Huevos Rancheros and Machaca Alambre, made to order in front of guests by Descanso’s talented Taquero Chefs. Those with a sweet tooth can opt for the Conchas Bread Pudding, made with Mexican sweet bread, seasonal berries, pistachio brittle and agave syrup.

Chef Ortega has also created a Weekend Brunch menu to excite non-Plancha diners. In the restaurant’s main dining room and patio, he offers a Salmon Avocado Toast with Steelhead Salmon Confit and Sweet Corn “Pozole Verde” with the season’s most flavorful roasted sweet corn. Guests will also find traditional Mexican breakfast dishes like Huevos Rancheros, Breakfast Torta and Burrito Con Huevo.

And since Weekend Brunch wouldn’t be complete without amazing cocktails, guests throughout the restaurant are invited to indulge in Bottomless Mimosas that come with a choice of Pineapple, Guava or Orange Juice, or other brunchy beverages, including the Bloody Maria, Divine Swine, and Will You Accept this Rosé?
