DCI Cheese Company Wins Seven Awards at Wisconsin State Fair


DCI Cheese Company took home seven awards in the Cheese and Butter Contest at last month’s Wisconsin State Fair.

The company placed first in the Blue-Veined category with Salemville Reserve, the Smoked Cheese category with Salemville Smokehaus Blue, and the Open Class Hard Cheese category with Black River Gorgonzola.

DCI took second in the Blue-Veined category with Black River Gorgonzola and the Cold Pack category with Black Diamond Extra Sharp Cheddar Cold Pack Spread.

The company received third place recognition for Black Creek Monterey Jack in the Colby/Monterey Jack category and for Liederkranz in the Smear Ripened category.

The Wisconsin-based company has been a leader in the cheese industry since 1975 and all of its award-winning cheeses are available for purchase at retailers nationwide.
