Las Brisas Brings on Jay Scollon as Executive Chef


In keeping with its desire to serve up romance and lasting memories along with luscious simplicity inspired by Mexico’s West Coast cuisine, Las Brisas announces today the arrival of its new Executive Chef: Jay Scollon.

Chef Scollon, a graduate of the Le Cordon Bleu School of Culinary Arts in Pasadena, comes to Las Brisas with a diverse culinary background and wide range of experience. Before joining the Las Brisas team, Scollon was the Executive Chef for a small restaurant group in Culver City, CA, specializing in a high-end gastropub style fair. Prior to that, he worked in several upscale kitchens including Hatfield’s, a Michelin star-rated restaurant in Beverly Hills, and spent several years as the executive sous chef for the Tavistock Restaurant Collection.
