Sara Lezama of RYE GOODS, an all organic company, will teach you how to make holiday pies using freshly milled flours and give you special tips on incorporating fermented starters and vinegars into your pie doughs. You will get HANDS ON to create an extra flaky rye flour tart dough and learn to roast whole pumpkins for your pies. This workshop will show you how to make Rye Goods’ signature spiced apple and roasted pumpkin pies. After the class you will get to take home two rounds of dough and 8 ounces freshly milled rye flour to get you started.
