Cuban Breakfast Sandwich

This Cuban sandwich is a hearty breakfast meal.

Ingredients:

16 oz            Rosemary Olive Oil Sourdough Loaf – (or any Sourdough)

4                   Honey Ham slice

4                   Black Pepper Salami slice

3 oz/2 slice  Country Pate 

4                   Gouda slice

1 handful     Cornichon

                    Mayo to taste

                    Mustard to taste

Directions:

  1. Begin by slicing a thin layer off of the top of the loaf and then hollowing it out.
  2. Then spread the mayo and mustard on the bottom and begin layering the ingredients – pate, honey ham, salami, cornichons, and cheese.
  3. Top with the slice once it’s been filled and panini press for 15-20 minutes under low heat.
  4. Best enjoyed with a bag of plantain chips!
