Michelin-starred restaurant Tim Ho Wan, originating in Hong Kong, has announced expansion in places such as New York and Las Vegas. But, they’re adding on to that list, and it’s a lot more local.
Paperwork has been filed for another location right here in Orange County. Settling down in Irvine at the previous Capital Seafood, Tim Ho Wan will be housed in the Diamond Jamboree Plaza. The company will have lots of mouths to feed for this highly anticipated location in OC, which is sure to gather lots of eaters ready to order a signature barbecue pork bun.
Tim Ho Wan’s dim sum-focused menu features a variety of pan-fried, baked and steamed specialties, all of which are handmade to order using fresh ingredients. Highlights include Baked BBQ Pork Buns, Steamed Shrimp Dumplings (Har Gow),Steamed Pork Spare Rib with black bean sauce, Pan-Fried Turnip Cake, Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf, and Steamed Rice Rollswith BBQ pork, minced beef, or shrimp and Chinese chives. The Irvine restaurant will also offer yet-to-be-announced items exclusive to that location alongside draft beers, eco-friendly wines and a private sake label set to debut at grand opening.
The address for the new spot will be at 2700 Alton Parkway, Irvine, CA.
