Join us for an afternoon of fun, food and camaraderie on October 24 at 11:30 am. Learn how to develop extraordinary flavor without using meat or chicken. You will learn how to create plant-based foods that match up in the same way as beef or poultry. Learn how to use different cooking techniques such as- grilling, broiling, and smoking as well as spices and ingredients from the world’s pantry. Here are some dishes you will be creating:

Pasta with shitake mushrooms, parsley and garlic
Quinoa with grilled Zucchini, garbanzo beans, and cumin
Vegetable tagine with potatoes, carrots, mushrooms and olives
Falafel with cabbage salad and tahini sauce

More information about Chef Zov: Since opening her first restaurant in 1987, Zov has become one of the best-loved chefs/restaurateurs in Southern California with glowing reviews in Food and Wine, Bon Appetit and the LA Times, to name a few. In addition to her critically acclaimed flagship restaurant in Tustin, CA, she owns and operates restaurants in Newport Beach, Irvine, 2 concepts at John Wayne Airport and is set to open Zov’s Anaheim this Fall.
