“THE GLUTEN-FREE EDGE” DIET AND RECIPE BOOK!
· On Monday, December 12, from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m., Tonic Coffee Bar, part of the Dining As Art Collection, will host a book signing for the authors of the new book, “The Gluten-Free Edge.”
· Gini Warner, MA, Clinical Nutritionist and Chef Ross Harris, authors of “The Gluten Free Edge,” will be present to sign copies and answer questions.
· The book contains 200 gourmet gluten-free recipes and a weight loss program, as well as information on the gluten-free diet.
· Tonic Coffee Bar features many different gluten-free options for patrons, including:
- Ratatouille- eggplant, zucchini, yellow squash, roasted red peppers, red onions, garlic, tomatoes, dried oregano, fresh basil, olive oil, salt and pepper
- Albacore Tuna Salad- romaine lettuce, albacore tuna, cherry tomatoes, black olives, alfalfa sprouts and black pepper
- Healthy Hummus Salad- hummus, romaine lettuce, roasted red peppers, red beets, carrots, alfalfa sprouts, sunflower seeds, fresh lime juice, olive oil and black pepper
- Chicken Pomegranate Salad- chicken breast, romaine lettuce, pomegranate seeds, vine ripened tomatoes, alfalfa sprouts, white balsamic vinaigrette, green onion and black pepper
- Gluten-Free Pizza- gluten-free corn meal pizza crust, spinach, sundried tomatoes, red onions, fresh basil, garlic and canola oil
- Hearty Green Pea Soup- gluten-free vegetable stock, sweet green peas, carrot, yellow onion, canola oil, goat cheese, salt and pepper
- Lentil and Mushroom Soup- vegetable broth, lentils, white button mushrooms, celery, carrots, white onions, canola oil, olive oil, soy butter, cumin, cilantro, salt and pepper
- Turkey Burger Wraps- ground turkey white meat, romaine lettuce, carrot, red onion, soy mayonnaise, gherkin pickle, cumin, canola oil, salt and pepper.
