California’s Central Coast is a place of great beauty, both natural and manmade, and rich in history. It also boasts a mature wine industry. What’s comparatively new to the area, however, is distilling. And the spirits now produced in the region are special in a way that only the palate can reveal. So visit LA’s Pacific Food & Beverage Museum on Sunday, November 18, and learn both the history and state of the art of distilling in California, particularly its Central Coast, from master distiller Stephen Gertman, President of Santa Barbara County’s Ascendant Spirits. The presentation and tasting will be accompanied by fresh fare from Melissa’s Produce.
