On Thursday, September 17 at 6 p.m. Chef/restaurateur Zov Karamardian and her culinary director, Louie Jocson, will host a “sneak peek” of the 6-course dinner they will be preparing at the prestigious James Beard House, at Zov’s Bistro in Tustin.
The Orange County preview will mirror the menu planned for New York. Guests will be welcomed with several tasters including:
Lamb Kofta Lollipops
Red Lentil Cakes with onion and garlic
Salmon Kibbe Naye
Kalamata Shrimp Salad with capers, shallots, fresh herbs and watermelon radishes.
The dinner will feature:
Sea Scallop Crudo
Jidori Chicken Meatballs in a savory broth with rice and spices
Chermoula spiced-rubbed Salmon served over lentil rice, pickled onion, shaved fennel & lebni
Banana Brulee with caramelized bananas & custard in a salted cardamom butter crust topped with vanilla bean whipped cream & caramel sauce for dessert.
