Jeremy Fox, executive chef of Santa Monica’s acclaimed Rustic Canyon Wine Bar & Seasonal Kitchen, partners with Chad Robertson (award-winning baker and co-owner of San Francisco’s Tartine Bakery & Cafe), for a five-course, guest chef collaboration on Monday, July 14. This exclusive dinner celebrates the release of Robertson’s latest book, Tartine Book No. 3: Modern Ancient Classic Whole-the third in a series of collectible cookbooks from the bakery-and unites Rustic Canyon co-owner and celebrated baker Zoe Nathan with her friend and mentor. Nathan spent her early baking career as an intern at Tartine, and both Robertson and his wife, co-owner and pastry chef Elisabeth Prueitt, continue to serve as inspiration.

The evening will feature a total of five courses, with each course prepared by Fox and inspired by the book, alongside artisanal breads baked by Robertson. Copies of the cookbook, in which Robertson shares his groundbreaking new techniques and master recipes emphasizing whole and ancient grains, will be available for purchase.

There will be two different seatings for the evening:
First seating between 6 p.m. and 6:45 p.m.
Second seating between 8 p.m. and 8:45 p.m.
