As the final votes are cast and the polls begin to close on Tuesday, November 6, Baldwin Hills’ Post & Beam, from Owner Brad Johnson and Executive Chef and Principal Govind Armstrong, invites diners of all political persuasions to wine and dine while watching the results roll in. For a delicious Election Night celebration, the restaurant will offer a special, three-course pre-fixe dinner menu featuring a selection of Chef Armstrong’s takes on classic American dishes, for $26. Guests can also take advantage of Post & Beam’s new Tuesday night wine specials, with 50% off select bottles of wine while supplies last. Whether a Republican Elephant, Democrat Donkey, or somewhere in between, voters will dine like a Head of State, starting with a Late Harvest Corn Griddle Cake with Smoked Salmon and Crme Fraiche. The main entre selection will feature a Carved Slow Cooked Brisket with Buttermilk Mashed Potatoes and Greens, and no matter whom the victorious candidate might be, guests will have a guaranteed sweet finish to the night with the restaurant’s signature dessert, Peach Cobbler.
