Beaumont’s Eaterywill host a fun-filled fundraising night on Thursday, July 31 from 5 to 10 p.m. to supportlocal philanthropic effortPedal The Cause, an annual ride raising money to benefit cancer research at the UC San Diego Moores Cancer Center,The Salk Institute Cancer Center, and the Sanford-Burnham Medical Research Institute.
Dave Heine, owner of Beaumont’s Eatery, has participated as a rider in the Pedal the Cause event for several years, raising over $5k for cancer research in 2013 as part of the event. He looks forward to taking his fundraising efforts one step further this year by donating 40% of restaurant proceeds from the night of July 31 to the cause. After losing two close friends to cancer, Heine holds the cause close to his heart and is an avid supporter of the annual event. “It will be an unforgettable experience,” says Heine. “Thousands of riders who have one shared goal: a world without cancer.”
Guests can join Beaumont’s Eatery in the cause enjoyingfood specials, drink specials, and live music by the Adam Block Duo from 7:30 to 10:30 p.m. on Thursday, July 31. Well-known Chef Giuseppe Ciuffa ofGiussepe Restaurants and Fine Cateringwill join Beaumont’s Executive Chef George Morris for the night.
