Spend the weekend kicking off summer at the Newport Beach Wine Festival at Balboa Bay Resort. Three days of winemaker dinners, tastings, and more!
From California’s Napa Valley to France’s Champagne Valley, enjoy 25 premium and award-winning wineries, 100+ varietals, spirit selections, an array of food stations, live entertainment and waterfront views.
The festival begins Friday evening with a waterfront Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel winemaker dinner and continues Saturday with a Mac(allan) & Cheese Whisky Tasting with The Macallan, Grand Wine and Food Tasting, and Patio Party at A&O Kitchen+Bar. On Sunday, enjoy a seafood and champagne brunch with Taittinger, Culinary Showcase or Wine Blending Event.

Far Niente and Nickel & Nickel Winemaker Dinner and Reception – 6:00 pm
Featuring the iconic Napa Valley vineyards and a five-course dinner expertly prepared by Executive Chef Vic Casanova and Chef de Cuisine Josh Shapiro.
Saturday, May 25
Mac(allan) & Cheese Whisky Tasting – 12:00 pm
Savor a selection of The Macallan’s finest expressions, while learning about what makes each pour unique, all with perfect cheese pairings.
Afternoon Grand Wine and Food Festival – 2:00 – 5:30 pm

Taittinger Brunch at Waterline – 10:00 am – 2:00 pm
Start the morning off in the best way with a delicious brunch with your favorite classic options, new favorites, and of course, Taittinger champagne.
Culinary Showcase – 12:00 – 2:00 pm
Learn from the Resort’s culinary team, including Balboa Bay Resort Executive Chef Vic Casanova, Chef de Cuisine Josh Shapiro Banquet Chef Tom Tobin, Pastry Chef Saree Musick, and Balboa Bay Club Executive Chef Jacob Davis, as they create fresh summer fare perfect for friends and family. Guests will receive their own set of ingredients to follow along with the demonstration and will enjoy the dishes they learned to cook — created by our chefs.
Wine Blending Event – 2:00 – 4:00 pm
Create your own blend of your favorite wines and learn what makes a perfect blend. Take home your own bottle and label to share your creation.
