ADYA Chef/Partner Shachi Mehra is excited to introduce Guest Chef Collaborations at ADYA Anaheim, and for the inaugural dinner, she welcomes Puesto Chef Katy Smith to present “From Mumbai to Mexico City!”
The dinner will be held on Thursday, March 29th at 6 p.m. and feature 5 courses that showcase each chef’s individual style, as well as feature two courses that combine the authentic flavors and signature dishes of ADYA and Puesto. In addition, Puesto Pastry Chef Jessica Scott will be involved in the dinner, creating a one-of-a-kind dessert inspired by both India and Mexico.
“My goal with the Guest Chef Collaborations is to show our guests how Indian food can come together with cuisines from other parts of the world to create unique flavors and combinations,” explains Chef Shachi, who has plans for additional collaborations this year, featuring locals chefs. “Indian and Mexican cuisines ‘play together’ really well and I’m excited to see how much fun we can have by having ADYA meet Puesto for this pop-up dinner!”
The menu for “From Mumbai to Mexico City” will be released in coming weeks and guests can follow ADYA on Instagram at @adyaoc to stay apprised of updates. Seats are $60 per guest and include a wine presentation (price excludes tax & gratuity). The dinner will be held at ADYA Anaheim and seating is extremely limited.
