Farmhouse Owner and Executive Chef Rich Mead is pleased to present the “Meet the Makers” dinner series. Among the olive trees in the restaurant’s unforgettable garden setting, the monthly dinners will continue through fall. Celebrating local winemakers, farmers, fishermen, distillers and industry innovators, the Meet the Makers series will forge a deeper connection between the restaurant guests and the food and beverages they enjoy, highlighting the impact of supporting local and sustainable businesses.
The first event in the series will take place on Thursday, March 19 at 5:30 p.m. and spotlight friends of Farmhouse, Co-founder Robin Christenson and Head Distiller Ryan Friesen of Blinking Owl Distillery, and Communications Manager Sherry Mandell of the Tehachapi Heritage Grain Project. Learn about the two local projects while experiencing the unique ingredients they produce within a special menu of small plates and beverage pairing courtesy of Chef Mead and Farmhouse’s cocktail specialists led by Chef de Swigs, Anthony Laborin.
