LOBSTER & SEAFOOD EXTRAVAGANZA MOVING TO 2 NIGHTS
AT PECHANGA BUFFET
— Buffet also now offering bottomless mimosas (and other Champagne cocktails)
during brunch, lunch & dinner for $15 —
Seafood lovers looking for a feast on Friday nights need not forego their fill of fresh-from-the-ocean lobster, clams, oysters, sushi and more. Pechanga Resort Casino’s Pechanga Buffet expands its Lobster & Seafood Extravaganza to include both Thursday and Friday nights.
From 4 p.m. to close at 10 p.m., diners receive a piping hot lobster bake bag containing the just-cooked lobster (flown in from Maine the night before) and fixings. Guests can also pile high the enhanced buffet seafood selections from the upgraded sushi station, a whole-salmon carving station, fresh and baked oyster station, snow crab, fish tacos, ceviche, calamari, Dungeness crab, clam chowder, steamed shrimp and much more.
The Pechanga Buffet also features many international dining stations with food dishes from Italy, China, Korea, Mexico and others. It may be tough with the enticement of fresh Maine lobster, but Pechanga Buffet guests may want to leave a little room for a stop at the make-your-own sundae bar or the expansive dessert bar filled with freshly baked cookies, pies, cakes, tarts and more sweet treats made at the Pechanga Bakery.
Adults can have their share of the lobster feast for $46.99 and children ages three to 11 for $23.99 on Thursdays and Fridays from 4 p.m. to 10 p.m. Kids two and under are free. Pechanga Club members receive discounts at the Pechanga Buffet including on Lobster & Seafood Extravaganza Thursdays. Silver members receive $3 off, Gold members receive $6, Platinum members receive $9 off and Red card members receive $12 off.
Pechanga Resort & Casino entered the waters of the Southern California casino lobster wars with its Lobster & Seafood Extravaganza in January 2018. On average, guests enjoy more than 2,500 lobsters each Thursday. In August 2019, guests savored a total of 11,900 at the Pechanga Buffet.
Pechanga sources the lobsters from ecologically responsible purveyors in Maine. Their products are fully inspected and certified. Fisheries they work with use sustainable methods and practices. The lobsters coming to Pechanga are caught one day, refrigerated, packaged, and shipped live across the country where they land at LAX overnight. They are immediately put onto a delivery truck and brought to Pechanga in Temecula. Casino buffet chefs cook small batches at a time and remaining lobsters are put into tanks.
The Pechanga Buffet also now pours bottomless mimosas during weekend brunch, lunch and dinner. For $15, guests can have their choice of not only Champagne and orange juice, but Champagne mixed with grapefruit, strawberry, peach, mango, pineapple or other seasonal flavors of juice. The refreshing cocktails may be ordered from the guest’s server, or from the restaurant’s bar.
