What: A festive meal at the Island Hotel’s Private Event Space.

Time: Thursday, November 27th at 11:00 4:00pm (pre-function opens at 9:30am for early NFL football game).

Cost: $65 per adult and children 12 and under are free.

Details: Live Acoustic guitar sets the mood as guests enter an environment reminiscent of the Oak Grill’s alfresco patio, with an elegant decor surrounded by glowing lanterns hanging from expansive tree branches.

The Thanksgiving feast includes familiar cuisine inspired by the contemporary cuisine of Oak Grill. Interactive live cooking stations bring the Chefs to the guests, as they prepare locally sourced, globally inspired fare including free-range turkey with all the fixings, customizable risotto, farmers market salads made to order, eggs any way you want them, and more…And the food is just the beginning of this extraordinary experience.

This is sure to be a memorable experience perfect for the entire family, with children age 12 and under dining free. Children receive age-tailored craft boxes to enjoy tableside and can head over to the children’s craft corner for additional activities. Football fans are treated to live NFL on the big screen in our pre-function space with a bar to grab a drink and comfortable high tops to cheer on their favorite team.

The pre-function space will open at 9:30 a.m. for the start of the Bears vs. Lions game. all Families will have the perfect opportunity to snap a family portrait at the on-site photo booth. This is a Thanksgiving experience your family will not want to miss.


What: Indulge in Chef Marc Johnson’s creative prix fixe four course Thanksgiving dinner at Oak Grill.

Details: Start with Slow Roasted Butternut Squash Soup with Banana Bread Croutons or Baby Kale and Charred Pear Salad; a second course of Pumpkin Ravioli with Sage Brown Butter or Fall Vegetable Risotto with Port Gastrique. For the main course go traditional with a Turkey Plate, with Cornbread Fennel Stuffing or go Coastal with Seared Atlantic Salmon accompanied by Swiss chard, Roasted Beets and Beurre Blanc or choose Grilled Filet Mignon. Finish off the meal with dessert choices of Classic Pumpkin Pie, Dark Chocolate Pudding or a Pecan Pie Donut Sundae.

Cost: $85 per adult, with an option of wine pairings for an additional $25; a separate children’s menu is available and children under 5 eat free.
