They’re like magic on the ice, but can they work their magic in the kitchen? Hockey stars Joe Di Penta, a Stanley Cup winner, and NHL Rookie of the Year Bobby Ryan will prepare a massive lasagna dinner at the world famous Anaheim White House (The) – Anaheim. o Helping serve the dinner will be some Ducks teammates. Cost is $55 per person and proceeds raised will benefit a nonprofit founded by the restaurant’s owner Bruno Serato. Each night, 100 hot meals are prepared at the restaurant, picked up by a van purchased by Serato and distributed to the area’s “motel kids,” youngsters of Orange County’s working poor who reside in low-cost motels. The program is called Caterina’s Club in honor of Serato’s mother, Caterina Lunardi.
