Acclaimed Boston chef, restaurateur and cookbook author, Barbara Lynch helms Barbara Lynch Gruppo, which includes Boston-based No. 9 Park, B&G Oysters, Menton and other culinary ventures. Lynch’s early mentor was Todd English at Olives, where she was one of the few women in a professional kitchen at the time. She opened No. 9 Park in 1998, is the only female Relais & ChÃ¢teaux Grand Chef in North America. In 2014 she was the second woman ever to receive a James Beard Foundation award for Outstanding Restaurateur.
