Once a year, Zapien’s Salsa Grill hosts a series of Hatch Chile-themed events to celebrate the New Mexican spicy, yet savory pepper, including a Hatch Chile Roast.
Along with Chef Marco Zapien’s Hatch Chile Cooking Demonstration, the restaurant’s Hatch Chile Roast allows patrons to pick-up roasted Melissa’s Hatch Chiles by the case and by the preferred level of spice, from mild to hot.
Come by and enjoy the fun as they turn on the roasters for a fun day of celebrating on Saturday, Sept. 7, 2019 from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m.
25-pound cases are $40 each. Pre-order your case to ensure you get one, but cases will be available for purchase during the roast. For further information on the event visit their website here.
