*Given the recent Level 3 (CDC Travel Health Notice) warning for Italy and the impossibility of the main keynote speaker being allowed on campus, the event, Food and Culture: An Italian Perspective, that was scheduled for Saturday, April 4, 2020 at 10 a.m. will be rescheduled for a future date to be determined.

Ticket holders may:

  • Retain their ticket for use at the future date and will be notified by email once the date has been set.
  • Seek a refund from the place at which your ticket was purchased.

A lively schedule of presentations, conversations, and demonstrations will take you through the exploration of topics such as: the cultural complexities of the peninsula’s cuisines; the transformation of culinary traditions within the unique context of the Italian-American experience; the predominance of Italian food in today’s global media; and Italian food as the embodiment of a special relationship with nature, people, and history.
