Enjoy National Fajita Day

El Torito Fajitas

When Larry Cano opened the first El Torito in 1954 in Los Angeles, he launched a Mexican Restaurant revolution. Legend has it that El Torito was seminal in popularizing Mexican restaurant staples, one of his most beloved being the sizzling fajita platter. For National Fajita Day, El Torito is celebrating by offering $5 off any fajita dish on August 18.

El Torito has more than six different types of fajitas, including Seafood Fajitas, Veggie Fajitas, Grilled Steak Fajitas, Shrimp Fajitas, Ignited Fajitas Supremas, which are flamed at your table with 4800 Silver tequila, and the new Family Style Fajitas that serves four and includes endless sides! All fajitas are served sizzling on a hot cast iron skillet with hand-pressed flour tortillas, veggies, rice, sour cream, pico de gallo, and El Torito’s signature sweet corn cake and choice of beans a la charra, refried beans or vegetarian black beans.
