Surfas Culinary District will be rolling out cooking camps for teens and children who have aspirations of becoming future chefs and pastry chefs.The establishment that has become known industry-wide as “chef’s paradise,” will open its Test Kitchen to youth with advanced cooking classes preparingdishes like Whole Roasted Chicken with Pistachio Pistou and Caramelized Onion and Gruyere Potato Gratin, as well as Chocolate-Glazed e’clairs Profiteroles.Boasting complex menus that will both engage and challenge, the participants will receive hands-on experience and instruction on the fundamentals of gourmet cooking at a pace perfect for the young audience.

Bring in your little chefs for a fun-filled day of cooking! In this hands-on class our instructor will teach your little ones how to make home-made pasta sauce, stuffed meatballs from scratch, the basics of cookie dough, and how to make a salad dressing. They will also lean the important fundamentals of basic knife skills, how to follow a recipe and the importance of being safe in the kitchen. This cooking camp is for ages 7-11 and includes a Surfas logo apron!
