Restauration’s Chef Philip Pretty is Coming to the Kitchen!
On June 27, come dine with Michael’s as Michelin-star-winning Chef Philip Pretty joins Chef Eric Samaniego in the Michael’s on Naples kitchen. Experience the contemporary fusion of Italian- and French-inspired cuisine that results from the collaboration of these two Long Beach chefs!
A Long Beach native, Philip Pretty has traveled around Los Angeles for the last nine years serving as executive chef in notable kitchens, two of which are Michelin star restaurants. Classically trained in French and contemporary cuisine, Pretty’s career began at age 26, when he finished schooling at Le Cordon Bleu and landed his first line cook position at Providence, where he started to work his way up the kitchen food chain.
In his current role as Executive Chef and Co-owner of Restauration, Chef Pretty brings his love of rustic modern cuisine to Long Beach foodies, combining local seasonal produce, hormone-free beef, pork, and chicken, as well as fresh, sustainable seafood with French-inspired techniques to create plates of delectable fare.
