This how-to class for beginners will provide all the practical knowledge necessary to begin growing tomatoes today. Learn which varieties to grow, how to plant and care for tomatoes and common diseases and pests that afflict them.

When: Saturday, March 1 at 9:30 a.m. RSVP online by February 27

About the Speaker: Dave Freed researches, educates and helps other backyard farmers successfully grow the ever popular home-grown tomato. Every year Dave grows a variety of Hybrids, Heirlooms, Cherry, and Beefsteak tomatoes in both containers and regular backyard soil. He always has plenty of tomatoes and is always happy to share his tips on growing “HomeGrown Tomatoes”.
