A Communal Table: The World on a Plate with Nancy Buchanan
Los Angeles is among a handful of global cities where one can experience virtually any ethnic cuisine, both unadulterated and hybridized. And Nancy Buchanan, culinary author, nutrition lecturer, and publisher of A Communal Table, knows it. On Saturday, March 30, visit LA’s Pacific Food & Beverage Museum and see Nancy convene the world on a plate. Using our southern neighbor as an example—and by employing a range of indigenous and imported ingredients courtesy of Melissa’s Produce—she’ll explore the influence of other cultures on Mexican cuisine. After the presentation, guests will enjoy refreshments and sample Nancy’s delicious handiwork.
