Locanda Del Lago’s monthly Morso della Bestia, or “Bite of the Beast,” whole-animal dinner series continues with a 5-course meal featuring Durazo Pork milk-fed suckling pig raised in Fontana, CA. Meal will also be paired with produce from downtown Santa Monica’s Farmer’s Market.

§ Antipasto: Roasted and Chilled Pork Loin with shredded horseradish, mixed greens, and housemade garlic dressing

§ Primo: “Tasta Sale” Spiced Ground Pork with Himalayan pink salt and rigatoni

§ Piatto di Mezzo: Pork Shoulder served alongside farro mantecato with shitake, portobello, and porcini mushrooms

§ Secondo: “Porchetta” Slow-Cooked Pig infused with fennel pollen, served with baby carrots and pink lady apples

§ Dolce: Organic Vanilla Gelato with plum compote

$48 per person, including unlimited litros of house red and white Italian wine
