A native of Guadalajara, Chef Manny Lopez has called the United States home for more than 18 years. The cooking he learned at the feet of his father remains with him today. Manny’s father taught the family the ways of the kitchen, and this memorable time learning has fueled Manny’s culinary passion.
Working in restaurant kitchens since he was 18, Manny perfected his skills at some of the finest dining destinations in Orange County, including: Montage Laguna Beach, Surf and Sand Resort, The White House, Mario’s By The Sea, Cedar Creek Inn, and Savannah Chop House. He is also trained in five different styles of cooking that encompass: Italian, French, Mexican, Chinese and traditional American.
When not creating or preparing a delectable dish, Manny’s favorite pastime is spending time with his two beautiful daughters. 04/14
