Chef Brian Drosenos, the new executive Chef at Zimzala Restaurant, has coast-to-coast experience in hotel restaurants including times with JW Marriott, The Ritz-Carlton, Noble House, The Ventana Inn and Spa, PGA National Resort and Spa and InterContinental. He has now made his way down the coast to the beautiful Zimzala Restaurant, a vibrant dining destination at The Shorebreak Hotel in Huntington Beach, Calif. Zimzala has been offering locals and visitors from around the world with the finest “comfortable California cuisine” in a casual, relaxed atmosphere.
Located just steps from the famous Huntington Beach Pier, Zimzala offers guests and beachgoers the perfect place to unwind and experience coastal cuisine that features unique tastes that encompass all cultures. Chef Drosenos only uses fresh ingredients which includes organic and farm to table produce from local farmers.
Previously, Drosenos was the senior sous Chef at the luxurious JW Marriott and The Ritz-Carlton Hotel, at LA Live. Prior to that, he was the executive Chef at the oceanfront Aquarius Restaurant in the Santa Cruz Dream Inn, specializing in local seafood, wine and craft beers. Chef Drosenos earned his culinary arts degree from Florida Culinary Institute in 2002.
