Director of Culinary Operations – Angelina’s Pizzeria Napoletana & Bottega Angelina
Chef Aaron attributes his inspiration for cooking to a magical experience at his uncle’s wedding as a teenager. He was asked to step in and help prepare dinner, which later inspired an apprenticeship with Gunter Seeger and eventually a degree from the Culinary Institute of America.
Aaron has traveled extensively for a decade, working in different kitchens under some of the most renowned names in the industry and in his own kitchen at the Ritz Carlton Half Moon Bay. He believes that once cooking fundamentals are established, the creative possibilities are endless without boundaries. Whether hiking through the hills, biking through the city, speaking to
a purveyor, visiting the markets, or searching through tidal pools with his daughter, he is always on the pursuit for new and exciting flavors for Angelina’s Pizzeria Napoletana and Bottega
